November 27, 2008 Town Hall Update
Just letting you know the Town Hall addition to the Fire Hall in Range
is completed. The board has done a final walk thru with the
contractor and will formally accept the building at the December
Meeting.
The town hall addition is now equipped with handicap accessible
restrooms. The Fire Dept. also did an upgrade and now have restrooms
and a industrial shower for their protection and welfare.
I personally want to thank everyone involved, the voters who approved
the project, the citizens committee who brought a recommendation to
the board, fellow board members, and others who contributed wherever
they could.
The new town hall will be used for all meetings and/or events as of
Dec. 1, 2008.
I also want to thank the people who involve themselves in our local
government. Election Workers, Volunteer Fireman, 1st Responders,
Planning Commission Members, Road Committee and citizens at large.
Local government needs your support.
In closing, note winter is upon us and in the interest of your safety
please slow down and be aware of snowplows on our roads.
