The meeting was called to order at 6:30PM. The full board, clerk and
treasurer were in attendance. First order of business was to review
individual ordinances and determine if that were to be rescinded,
modified, or adopted as is.
Boating Ordinance-Reviewed and recommended to be included as is.
Ordinance 98-1, Emergency Management Ordinance-Reviewed with Kathy
Poirier and was recommended to be rescinded and replaced with more
current NIMS resolution.
Ordinance Prohibiting Issuance of Alcohol Beverage Licenses for
Non-Payment of Taxes, Assessments & Claims- The board directed this
ordinance to be modified to be applicable to personal property taxes,
assessments, or any other claim paid directly to the Town of Apple
River.
Town Ordinance 2-Animals at Large-Reviewed and recommended to be
included as is.
Ordinance 3-Ordinance to Assign Town Road Names-Recommended to be
rescinded.
Highway Ordinance 5-Review, compare and possibly amend
Ordinance 1-2004-Include in Code of Ordinance as is.
Ordinance 98-2-Include in Code of Ordinance as is.
Town of Apple River Traffic & Motor Vehicle Ordinance-Rescind
Ordinance To Establish A Project Review Commission-Rescind
Ordinance for the Destruction of Obsolete Records-Include in Code of
Ordinance as is.
Town Plan Commission Ordinance-Include in Code of Ordinance as is.
Malt Beverage, Liquor, & Operators License Ordinance- Include in Code
of Ordinance as is.
The Board adopted a motion to act on the motions as read and
described herein; Dave Waterman moved the motion with Ken Chapdelaine
providing the 2nd. Vote was 3-0.
Board moved and seconded to adopt the Code of Ordinance as described
in ss 66.0103.
